Pat the cod fillets dry with a paper towel.
In a shallow bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Lightly coat each cod fillet in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the cod fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and flaky.
Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced.
Stir in parsley and remove from heat.
Place the cod fillets back in the pan and spoon the sauce over the top.
Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.
