Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans of tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped celery, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  • Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Place the bread, buttered side down, on a cutting board. Layer each slice with tuna salad and a slice of cheddar cheese. Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
  • Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the skillet, cut in half if desired, and serve warm.
