Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup kimchi, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 pack of dumplings (pork or vegetable)
  • 200g fresh noodles
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is soft about 5 minutes.
  • Add the broth, kimchi, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well and bring to a boil.
  • Add the dumplings to the pot and cook according to package instructions, usually about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the fresh noodles and cook until tender, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
