- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup kimchi, chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 pack of dumplings (pork or vegetable)
- 200g fresh noodles
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is soft about 5 minutes.
Add the broth, kimchi, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well and bring to a boil.
Add the dumplings to the pot and cook according to package instructions, usually about 5-7 minutes.
Add the fresh noodles and cook until tender, about 3-5 minutes.
Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
