- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 5 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar, baking powder, flour, salt, and ground cinnamon. Mix until crumbly. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
In another bowl, combine the sliced peaches, sugar, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Mix gently to coat the peaches.
Spread the peach mixture evenly over the crust. Crumble the remaining dough mixture over the top of the peaches.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
Let the bars cool completely in the baking dish before cutting into squares. Serve and enjoy!
