Equipment

  • A baking sheet or pizza stone
  • Rolling pin (if you're using homemade dough)
  • Pizza cutter or a knife for shaping the dough into ghosts
  • Cheese grater (if you're using a block of mozzarella)
  • Oven

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Black olives (for ghost eyes)
  • Optional toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s about ¼ inch thick. Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut ghost shapes from the dough.
  • Transfer the ghost-shaped dough to a lined baking sheet.
  • Spread marinara sauce on each ghost, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. The cheese will melt and form the ghost bodies.
  • Cut small circles from the black olives and place them on the pizza to form eyes for the ghosts.
  • Place the pizzas in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and allow the pizzas to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
