A baking sheet or pizza stone
Rolling pin (if you're using homemade dough)
Pizza cutter or a knife for shaping the dough into ghosts
Cheese grater (if you're using a block of mozzarella)
Oven
- 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Black olives (for ghost eyes)
- Optional toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.)
Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s about ¼ inch thick. Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut ghost shapes from the dough.
Transfer the ghost-shaped dough to a lined baking sheet.
Spread marinara sauce on each ghost, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. The cheese will melt and form the ghost bodies.
Cut small circles from the black olives and place them on the pizza to form eyes for the ghosts.
Place the pizzas in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow the pizzas to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
