Easy Sautéed Kale Recipe

Sautéed kale is a simple, healthy side dish quickly made and packed with nutrients. With just a handful of ingredients, you can have a delicious and tender dish that goes well with almost any meal. When sautéed, Kale becomes tender but still has a bit of bite to it, making it a great addition to your dinner plate or even a topping for bowls and soups.

- 1 bunch of kale, washed and stems removed, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- (Optional) Squeeze of lemon juice
- (Optional) Red pepper flakes, for a bit of heat
Wash and dry the kale. Remove the tough stems and chop the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
Add the chopped kale to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the kale is tender but still bright green.
Season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice if desired. If you like a bit of heat, sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
Transfer to a plate and enjoy as a side dish or topping.
