Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch of kale, washed and stems removed, chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • (Optional) Squeeze of lemon juice
  • (Optional) Red pepper flakes, for a bit of heat

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry the kale. Remove the tough stems and chop the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  • Add the chopped kale to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the kale is tender but still bright green.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice if desired. If you like a bit of heat, sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
  • Transfer to a plate and enjoy as a side dish or topping.
