Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef (preferably lean)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers (about 12 crackers)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, bell pepper, egg, crushed Ritz crackers, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until well combined.
  • In a small bowl, mix the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf
  • Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
  • Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
