Total Time 15 minutes mins
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 large egg
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
Pour in the milk, crack in the egg, and add the melted butter.
Whisk gently until the batter is smooth. Avoid overmixing; small lumps are fine.
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set.
