Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs or spatula

Ingredients

  • 500g (1 lb) fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, balsamic glaze for drizzling, or grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Set your air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for a couple of minutes.
  • Trim the ends and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Slice the Brussels sprouts in half lengthwise.
  • In a large mixing bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add garlic powder or any other desired seasonings.
  • Place the Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 190°C (375°F) for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking. The Brussels sprouts should be crispy and golden brown when done.
  • Transfer the crispy Brussels sprouts to a plate and, if desired, drizzle with balsamic glaze or sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese before serving.
