Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups crushed corn flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, chopped onion, and shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spread the potato mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, combine the crushed corn flakes with a tablespoon of melted butter. Sprinkle the corn flake mixture evenly over the top of the potatoes.
  • Bake the cheesy potatoes with corn flakes in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are cooked through.
