Total Time 40 minutes mins
Large skillet for cooking beef
9x13-inch baking dish
Mixing spoon or spatula
Large pot for boiling pasta
Colander for draining pasta
- 450 grams (1 pound) ground beef
- 1 can (about 284 grams or 10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 250 grams (8 ounces) pasta (such as macaroni or penne)
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
While the pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, browned ground beef, condensed cream of mushroom soup, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until everything is well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly, then sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
